FZD SCHOOL OF DESIGN EXPANDS CREATIVE TEAM WITH TOP INTERNATIONAL TALENTS

April 22, 2013 (Singapore) - FZD School of Design, established in 2009 by renowned concept designer Feng Zhu, is delighted to announce the addition of four new members to its creative team.

Joining FZD team are Thomas Brissot, Ben Mauro, Eduardo Peña and Long Ouyang.

Arriving from Paris, Brissot excels at story-driven illustrations and graphic novels. Prior to joining FZD, he has been working on completing an illustrated book called Mnemos Editions, which will be published in the fall of 2013.

Mauro, Peña and Ouyang were all conceptual designers from the multi-award winning studio, Weta Workshop, based in New Zealand. The three of them have contributed to a multitude of blockbuster films and games, including: The Hobbit trilogy, Man of Steel, The Amazing Spider-Man, Hercules: the Thracian Wars as well as the upcoming science fiction movie Elysium, starring Matt Damon and directed by Neill Blomkamp.

Together with Feng, this team will contribute to the fast growing entertainment industry by training talents through FZD’s Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs. Their combined experience and expertise will bring a wealth of innovative techniques, skills and knowledge to the School.

In addition, this creative team will undertake the development of new intellectual properties for feature films and next-generation games.

Term 1, Week 7

Week 7 is usually always a good turning point for our new students. In less than 2 months since enrollment, most students are starting to sketch by using good fundamentals.
